The Practice staff take patient confidentiality very seriously. The Practice Manager is the Practice Caldicott Guardian and protects patient data at all times.
Staff of the Practice are unable to disclose any Patient details to a third party unless we have written consent from the patient or are required to by law. Patient data is only released to other Health professionals when in the best interests of the patient and only relevant information is disclosed.
If the patient needs to view their medical notes they need to put a re-quest in writing with a valid explanation. If it is agreed then the patient would be invited to the surgery to view the records.
